Before You Buy

The crucial thing you need to understand about the sales copy for CB Passive Income is that what Patrick Chan says is grossly exaggerated.

Hype

This is selling a pipe-dream. It is basically saying you can make a passive money for doing virtually nothing, and that just isn’t true.
The premise of the system is a simple and well known marketing ploy: create an email harvesting website that offers something for free in return for an email address; send that person emails with information and product promotions; earn commissions.
That is a tried and tested way of earning money online, I have no doubt about that. My concerns for this system come from the fact that the newbie will not be taught or learn about the ins and outs of how a mailing list works and they won’t have to face the learning and growing experience of trying and failing. Patric Chan, the creator of CB Passive Income will do it all for you.
This will lead to one major downfall: your income is in someone else’s hands!
  • You have no control over what the website looks like, what it sells, or what the emails contain.
  • You will also have no exact statistics on what emails did well, how many products sold etc etc.
  • You will also be at the mercy of Mr. Chan. What if he decides that today is the day, unplugs his computer and goes to live in Peru?
Push button systems sound glorious, and speak to our inner laziness (they do to mine all the time!), but in reality you don’t learn from them and you certainly won’t make a sustainable passive income from them.

A Simple Task Of course if you did decide to purchase the product, there is “one simple task” you need to do, which is to promote the link to the website to get people to hand over their email address in the first place.

Lead generation, as this is technically called, is no easy task, especially for a beginner. In fact, I would say it is probably the largest stumbling block for any online entrepreneur.
Therefore, while it is great that the only thing you need to do in this system is generate traffic, it is often the hardest thing to do, especially when there is little reward for the user. Would you just give away your email address easily?
Perhaps I’m cynical nowadays, but I tend to want to trust the website first before doing so, which means I need content and lots of it, to prove to me this person knows what they are talking about.

Upsells Due to the fact that most newbies will be lost at sea when it comes to finding traffic (after they have tapped out the family and friends resources), it is of course obvious that Patric has added some convenient upsells to his product. As you can see below this isn’t the “free” system that he insinuates in his sales letter

This is actually a clever way of getting you through his proverbial door, as most newbies will need that training to even start generating cash so will more likely sign up to his membership system which has a monthly fee of $47 bucks.

The Pro Version You can pay Patric some more money and get access to the leads generated by the system. In other words, you can start to take control away from Patric and into your own hands.

Where Is Traffic Coming from? Chan does set them up as a squeeze page, which means it’s ready to send visitors to right away and start collecting leads (email addresses). But there’s no content on the website, so how do you plan to rank in Google, Bing, or Yahoo!? You won’t. Simple as that. Alright then, how about PPC? Google won’t allow single page squeeze pages any more. But Bing has lower standards, so you could use that. Oh, you don’t know how to set up a PPC campaign in Bing? Hm, tough luck.
Maybe you could try social media. Do you know how to grow a following of people that are interested in “business opportunities” online? Probably not. Hey, I thought Chan said that we don’t need any skills to use this product. In the end, you’ll be left spamming friends and family on Twitter or Facebook, and probably receive a good amount of complaints.

Who Is Your Buyer? Do you even know what kind of offers Patrick Chan will be sending the people you bring into CB Passive income? These are real people you are trying to convince to spend money. I’ll bet you hate it when you receive spam offers of how to make a million bucks.

I roll my eyes constantly when I see things like, “Buy this super secret system that makes me $4,581.34 in 3 days!”. This is the kind of junk they’ll be sending out. Buy rates are extremely low, and refund rates are extremely high.
Most of the time people that buy are uninformed newbies, who are either gullible enough to believe this stuff, or so confused that they buy something just to see what’s at the end of the sales funnel. Is your ideal customer the one that doesn’t understand what he/she is buying and immediately regrets it?

Association With Dubious Motivators Maybe “scam artist” is a bit harsh – snake oil salesman? I don’t really know too much about Bill Bartmann, but in the 5 minutes of research I did, I didn’t like what I found. Yes his name and face are used on the sales page as if we are supposed to “trust” this product because a billionaire endorses it.

In Summary,CB Passive Income is not as easy as it presented, it’s not as passive as it sounds, and I think it’s a terrible way to start making your first dollars online. Why? Do you think Giving away free reports really works now? Because so many people are so used to this and have their inbox flooded with so many ebooks, and they say " oh no, not another make money online ebook" so they don't even bother opt in into your list.

Even you manged to generate decent amount of lead,It cant promise success or sale.
